Care instructions

WULFFWINDING sculptures are designed for indoor hanging only and are not suitable for outdoor settings.

All product finishes are made in hand in our own workshop. Due  to  the  hand-made  process as well as the raw materials,  each product is unique and may vary in finish.

Whether you have chosen your WULFFWINDING sculpture in brass, zinc or wood, the sculpture will gain a beautiful natural patina over time, depending on the environment in which the sculpture is mounted. The patina which is a part of our design, is affected by room temperature, air humidity, light, impurities etc. WULFFWINDING cannot be held responsible for surface changes due to this type of natural influences.

Take good care of your WULFFWINDING sculptures, and they will be with you for life.

Wood

The wooden sculptures are finished with natural oil that is suitable for wood. You can remove stains carefully with a soft cloth and a little bit of water, perhaps mixed with a mild detergent. A natural transparent oil for wood can be used if necessary. Please note: do not use any kind of harsh cleaners, scrub sponges or other sharp/scratchy objects when cleaning your sculpture. WULFFWINDING offers no warranty in case of mistreatment of the sculpture.

Zinc

Our zinc sculptures are made of an exclusive pre-patinated zinc. Zinc is a natural long lasting material that is easy to clean. The surface may patinate further over time depending on outside influences. You can remove stains carefully with a soft cloth and a little bit of water, perhaps mixed with a mild detergent. Be careful not to rub the surface hard. Please note: do not use any kind of harsh cleaners, scrub sponges or other sharp/scratchy objects when cleaning your sculpture. WULFFWINDING offers no warranty in case of mistreatment of the sculpture.

Brass

The brass sculptures are made of untreated natural brass. Brass patinates beautifully over time, taking on a variety of tones. To achieve a patinated surface, you should completely avoid polishing or otherwise treating the surface. It is possible to remove the patina, using brass polish. You can remove stains carefully with a soft cloth and a little bit of water. Please note: do not rub the surface. Do not use any kind of harsh cleaners, scrub sponges or other sharp/scratchy objects when cleaning your sculpture. WULFFWINDING offers no warranty in case of mistreatment of the sculpture.
